S/M Aqua Indigo dyed Hemp/Silk Chemise
One of a kind chemise smock dress, handmade by Serpent & Bow from soft and shiny deadstock hemp/silk satin cloth. Soft roses and birds in the original pink cloth, overdyed and printed to create beautiful mystical layered imagery with trumpet flowers, yarrow, pixies, and willow branches in ombré inks. Vintage cotton crochet neckline, finished with a silk cord. Carefully finished hems.
Dyed with local fresh-leaf indigo, creating an incredible soft turquoise.
Fresh leaf indigo is an incredibly special dye, only available when used fresh from the garden and processed quickly with very cold water. Store out of direct sun for best longevity of color. do not bleach.
size S, low-slung arm holes allow it to be worn over another slip or top.
