Reworked 100% Linen shift dress, taupe brown, overedyed with marigold flowers. Screen printed and handpainted with textile color and adorned with little beads on snake's eyes and in the roses. Black raw silk front pockets. Simple A-Line shape with darts at bust.

The bewitched gowns are reclaimed vintage garments, adorned with hand blockprinting from our library of original carvings. This series celebrates the Empress: tarot card III from the aether arcana. The Bewitched gowns are a resurrection process: beloved garments are brought back to life through beauty magic. Small imperfections in these garments (small holes or discoloration) are seen as a reflection of life lived.
The Bewitched gowns are meant for tromping through forests, for ritual, for rainstorm dancing, or for hanging on the wall if you wish. Please wash by hand and hang to dry in moonlight.
