How Do I Place an Order? It looks like everything is always sold out....
Shop Updates are primarily announced through the newsletter, and sometimes through @serpentandbow on instagram. To inquire about placing a custom order, or to request a reserved listing, contact Rachel at [email protected]
If you have a Gift Certificate you can reach out anytime! Send a message to Rachel at [email protected], for an up to date list of available preorder options, and we can create a reserved listing for you to purchase.
Seasonal pieces are created in small batches, ready to ship! This is awesome because they arrive soon after you've made the purchase! However, the downside is that in this case, there is only a small number of pieces available, in certain specific sizes.
Preorder Batches usually require 6-8 weeks to be completed, sometimes longer. Preorder batches allow us to create each piece in direct response to your needs: including custom size options and listed modifications.
Custom Fit and Sizing: We do not charge extra for custom fitting or plus sizing. We can make any size- just send us your measurements, or let us know about any relevant fit details. Custom fit and sizing may require extra time.
Contact : For Inquiries of any kind, please email [email protected] . If you have a time sensitive question or message and do not hear back within 1-2 weeks, please send a nudge. At times, it is necessary for me to dedicate most of my energy toward studio production, meaning email takes a back seat.
Is it swimwear? While the Moon Cycle sets and other briefs and bralettes were originally designed as undergarments, many people enjoy wearing them as swimwear! Indigo is a strong dye, but I recommend rinsing the clothing well if you swim in saltwater or chlorine, as this will protect the cotton fiber. The briefs and bralettes are made from a cotton-lycra blend stretch fabric, so they aren’t as sleek and shiny as synthetic swimwear, but they’ll stay opaque when wet. Please be aware that plant based dyed can be sensitive and may change over time. In general, avoiding chlorinated water is recommended. More on Garment Care here.
Who makes the garments? All Serpent & Bow clothing is made from original patterns designed and sewn in house by Rachel Blodgett, from Organic natural fiber cloth that is made in the USA. Sometimes we also work with reclaimed vintage cloth and repurposed vintage garments.
