SCARLET bewitched gown
RITES is a collection of imagery and garments created in 2019 as a visual library of regeneration. These garments signify the deep internal processes of energy movement that occur during of personal rites of passage.
The SCARLET Bewitched Gown is made from soft white knit fabric (likely nylon), trimmed in cotton eyelet lace. Hand blockprinted in Bright Red: Sun, Comb, Bull, Wisteria vines, Marbled Vessel, and Card Suits. Vintage gown is likely from the 1950's or 60's.
